Place Reports: planning a day out or a stay somewhere new? Pick a destination or a whole town and get a personal visit guide: what's worth doing, how it fits your group, arrival, hours and tickets, getting around, food for your diet, step-free and stroller access, your restroom needs, events for your dates, and alternatives if it doesn't fit. Sourced facts show their sources, and anything uncertain is listed for you to confirm. Saved reports stay in your library. (RestMap Premium)
Smoother navigation and CarPlay: the CarPlay map moves smoothly with your car, and complex junctions show a simple sketch on your phone and in the car. Stop lists name what could rule a stop out, such as "Customers only" or "Past security". When the route ends away from the door, RestMap remembers where you parked and keeps guiding you on foot. Skipped a stop by mistake? Undo puts it back.
Quick Find, rebuilt: one clear recommendation with one button to go there, routed travel times for walking or driving, your essential needs respected, and opening hours checked for when you'll arrive. Other options are one tap away.
Inspector and ready alerts: when Inspector can't finish a check, it shows what it did find. Ask RestMap to tell you when a Place Report, Trip Report or Inspector check is ready; the alert opens it. Alerts stay off until you turn them on.
Trips: paste an Apple Maps or Google Maps link to add a stop at the right point on your route. Saved reports are easy to find from You and Trips.
Place photos: with RestMap Premium, a place page can show a photo of the place from Google, credited under the image.
You and World Tour: choose a redrawn avatar and earn new styles as you help improve restroom information. World Tour opens on each day's destination art.
Quieter notifications: automatic notifications are limited, a type you stop opening pauses itself, and generic "come back" reminders are gone.
EV charging stops: charging stations from Open Charge Map are back in planned trips and in suggestions near upcoming exits.
Larger text: at the largest accessibility text sizes, a place's open-now status and access details now line up with the rest of its card.

Ask Inspector: open a facility for a focused answer, or ask another question. Saved findings remain available offline, and a no-findings result explains what you can do next.
RestRoom IQ, explained: see the grade, estimated stars, confidence and why the estimate was made, without mixing in unrelated facility facts.
Rate or correct: rate a restroom and update facility details in a few taps. You can change or remove your saved answer later.
More ways to use Inspector: earn credits by helping improve place information, or choose Monthly Premium alongside Annual and Lifetime. Finding and comparing restrooms stays free.
CarPlay polish: ETA stays visible when maneuver names are long, and resuming a paused trip clears the re-planning message once the route is ready.
Listings beside the findings: every facility tile now reads the listings behind a place, with their sources. Refuge Restrooms, OpenStreetMap, city directories and your own reports show beside Inspector's findings, agreeing or differing, without overriding them.
More of your reports answer the board: the door-code and extra-space reports you enter now answer their tiles, and a family restroom listed on OpenStreetMap shows on the room-for-a-helper tile.
Honest tiles: once Inspector has checked a place, a facility it found nothing about reads "Not known" rather than "Not checked", and a listing of what was not reported never reads as a purchase rule.
Lookups that finish where you are: a long Inspector lookup lands on the open place page, no closing and reopening. Lookups that ended in "a technical problem" since September 15 complete again.

See what a place has, at a glance: every restroom facility is a tile on the place page with a short answer. Tap a tile for the details, the source and its date, and what to do next: look it up, find one nearby, or report from your visit.
City listings answer more questions: public restrooms listed by city and park departments, and highway rest areas, answer hours, access and closure questions, credited to the publisher with the listing date. Quick Find, Find Best and the trip planner skip listed closures. Coverage is growing and is not everywhere yet.
Trips and arrivals: add your own stop without losing the suggested ones, plan to an arrival time, and see an arrival estimate that counts only the stops you accepted.
Rate in your own time: pick a rating and submit when you are ready, and change your mind within the hour. Your facility reports now show in Community activity.
On the road: choose a map puck style. On CarPlay, see a route overview with every stop and your next break, entry information on stop panels, typed address search, and Quick Find that proposes a match before routing.
Inspector says whether a stop is a good option: it leads with what to know before you go and shows the evidence behind each finding. Premium members get the full pass in one tap.
Place details put the essentials first: amenities, sources, and community notes are one tap away, and nothing was removed.
A calmer first minute: onboarding asks who's traveling, solo, with kids, with a pet, needing quick access, safe spaces, or step-free access, and RestMap tunes its picks from the first search.

Search that remembers your chains: nearby search now floats the chains you tend to choose, the places you return to, and the kinds of stops you pick at this time of day toward the top. It personalizes the order of your results — it does not change any quality grade. Private by design: it runs anonymously and entirely on your device.

Driving or walking: picked automatically by distance, switchable mid-trip with one tap. Walking gets a dotted path, walking-scale distances, your compass heading when you stop to look around, and an arrival that tells you which side of the street.
Honest off-route behavior: clear "Rerouting…" cues and a position marker that stays truthful when you leave the route.
Smarter road-trip stops: required stops respect tight detour limits scaled by quality grade — and when a remote corridor genuinely has nothing close, the stop is labeled "Best Available" instead of pretending. Lunch stops land at lunchtime, and the trip bar shows live ETAs and highway exits for upcoming stops.
Small moments: Quick Find has your route ready the moment you tap Go, closing-soon places say so plainly ("Closes in 45 min · you arrive in 12"), Waddles may share a local fact when you arrive somewhere new, and your route draws itself when a trip begins.
