When data is strong, thin, user-reported, or conflicting, the app should show that difference.
RestMap exists because "bathroom nearby" was never enough context for our family.
Why we built it.
After years of travel across North America, Europe, and Oceania with three kids, we had a mental map of which stops were worth taking and which ones we wished we had skipped. General map apps could show nearby businesses, but they did not explain the restroom choice.
RestMap is our attempt to make that decision less random. It brings together public data, community sources, brand profiles, and user-submitted ratings so people can compare restroom options with more context.
